Live usage
All parameters can be tweaked in realtime. If you are using a mouse, the plugin smoothes your movements automatically - there won't be clicks or glitches. The adaptive Midi control smoothing provides parameter changes with no zippering artifacts. A Midi learn function automatically assigns Midi #CC to your controller and remembers it on startup. FilterBank3 is never out-of-beat because it automatically synchronizes delay times, LFO's and the step sequencer to your host's BPM rate.
Filters
Two fully independent stereo filters offer reference-class sound quality. Tone2 is currently the only company which can offer such a large and excellent repertoire of filters. The self-resonating Moog cascade filter simulates circuit overloads of analogue synthesizers.

Oscillators
FireBird provides 84 different morphable oscillator types in high-end sound quality. They sound warm, analog, digital, transparent or completely unique. Additionally 23 spectral manipulations or “modifiers” can be applied to the oscillators. A fat knob doubles or quadruples the number of oscillators giving up to 8 (!) oscillators per voice.
Filters
FireBird comes with 38 different sounding filter types in reference quality:
Lowpass (6-40dB), Analog, Moog, Vocal, Phaser, Comb, EQ, FM, AM, Resample, Elliptic, ...
FireBird provides also more complex characteristics for vocal or M-shape filters. Finally, it gives you ADSR- or LFO-modulated phaser-effects, AM- or FM-modulation.
Effects
FireBird offeres 13 different effect types. The effects section has several reverb and stereo tab delay variations, chorus, ensemble, flanger, and rotary effects as well as combinations.
Firebird comes with a powerful and easy-to-use arpeggiator.
Intelligent micro tuning
IQM (intelligent micro tuning) is a feature of Firebird which automatically tunes the notes that you play so they play in a different scale and sounds more “fat”. For example when you play C2 and C3 on your keyboard, Firebird will detune both notes slightly which results in a fatter or thicker sounds. IQM also allows chords to be processed to make them sounds more clean.
IQM (intelligent micro tuning) makes chords harmonically cleaner and at the same time more fat.

Oscillators
FireBird provides 84 different morphable oscillator types in high-end sound quality. They sound warm, analog, digital, transparent or completely unique. Additionally 23 spectral manipulations or “modifiers” can be applied to the oscillators. A fat knob doubles or quadruples the number of oscillators giving up to 8 (!) oscillators per voice.
Filters
FireBird comes with 38 different sounding filter types in reference quality:
Lowpass (6-40dB), Analog, Moog, Vocal, Phaser, Comb, EQ, FM, AM, Resample, Elliptic, ...
FireBird provides also more complex characteristics for vocal or M-shape filters. Finally, it gives you ADSR- or LFO-modulated phaser-effects, AM- or FM-modulation.
Effects
FireBird offeres 13 different effect types. The effects section has several reverb and stereo tab delay variations, chorus, ensemble, flanger, and rotary effects as well as combinations.
Firebird comes with a powerful and easy-to-use arpeggiator.
Intelligent micro tuning
IQM (intelligent micro tuning) is a feature of Firebird which automatically tunes the notes that you play so they play in a different scale and sounds more “fat”. For example when you play C2 and C3 on your keyboard, Firebird will detune both notes slightly which results in a fatter or thicker sounds. IQM also allows chords to be processed to make them sounds more clean.
IQM (intelligent micro tuning) makes chords harmonically cleaner and at the same time more fat.
